About
One of the earliest memories I have is drawing copies of the cartoon characters on my bed sheets as a child. I have been drawing ever since. Growing up drawing comic books I developed an interest in human form and dynamic motion of the figure. Later in life this evolved into an interest in classical drawing which still heavily influences my artistic tendencies.
I left college without graduating to pursue other interests, therefore never received a formal education or artistic training. Once I took up painting on my own I became focused on learning all I could through books, videos and tutorials.
I travel often and it is my experiences in aviation that are featured often in my work. I highlight the sights of manmade artificiality such as runways, city lights and views that only be viewed from an aircraft and blend them with the landscape of nature. My attempt is to always create a scene of harmony with these two elements that seem contrary to the other.
I am constantly exploring my passion in art and am dedicated to chasing the expression of my art work to my highest ability.
I was born in 1977 and due to being in a military family, moved frequently growing up and have lived in various places in the United States. When I was 12 years old my family settled in Georgia where I live today.
